  • Q Is it a requirement for someone to be present at the time of pickup and delivery of the car?

    Yes, a vehicle inspection report will need to be signed and the keys handed over to our driver. If this is not possible please discuss alternate arrangements with our helpful staff on (08) 8256 5199

  • Q How long will it take to transport my vehicle?

  • Q What payment methods do you accept?

    We accept Visa, MasterCard, Direct Deposit, Bank Cheque. Cash payments are accepted at our depot locations. All private bookings must be prepaid prior to your vehicle being transported.

  • Q Do you transport non-running vehicles?

    Yes, we can transport non running vehicles. We require a certain standard when transporting non drivable vehicles, they need to have a working handbrake, brakes and steering wheel in order to transport.Please call us to discuss the options.

  • Q My car has lowered suspension, can you transport it?

    If your vehicle is going to be transported then it must have a minimum ground clearance of 15cm. If for some reason your vehicle is lower than the 15cm ground clearance required then please contact our team and one of our staff will be able to assist you with a separate price for this particular service.

  • Q Is my vehicle covered by Insurance?

    No, Redstar does not offer Motor Vehicle Insurance for your vehicle whilst in transit. However, if we are found to be negligent in damaging your vehicle we do have a claims process. We strongly advise that you have your own insurance to cover your vehicle whilst in transit.

  • Q Does my vehicle need to be registered?

    No, as long as the vehicle can be driven onto the truck we can assist with transport. However please note that at time of booking you will need to provide the last 6 digits of the VIN. If the vehicle still has number plates this can be used, this is for ID purposes only.

  • Q When can I pick up or drop my vehicle at the depot?

    Pick up & drop off at the depot is available from 8:30am to 4:30pm

  • Q Other useful tips for a hassle free experience:

    Dangerous Goods: NO dangerous goods are to be left in your vehicle.

    Alarms: Please ensure that all non standard alarms/immobilisers are disabled prior to transport

    Fuel: Your vehicle needs to have at least and preferably not more than ¼ of a tank of fuel.

    Vehicle Accessories: Please remove weather shields, rear window louvers, and removable aerials where possible.

    Keys: Your vehicle cannot be moved if we are unable to gain access
